I’m a senior UX generalist focused on building complex systems and leading product + operational strategy. With seven years of direct UX experience and ten years overall practicing human-centered design, I’ve crafted web-based enterprise and internal applications, desktop tools, touch panel interfaces, streaming hardware device UIs, custom eLearning, and more.

What I Bring to the Table
Problem Solver
I enjoy solving complex problems and do so methodically and empathetically. My drivers in design are to create order and improve ease of use. I love to organize things and test new ways to help users accomplish their goals.
Technical Skills
Along with my computer science degree, I have a strong coding background and tend to have an easier time understanding technical limitations. I'm also a tinkerer and love to experiment to push the boundaries of what's possible.
Appetite for Learning
Both personally and professionally, I'm always trying to improve my skills and learn new ones. I've taught myself several tools and scripting languages on the job, try to stay on top of what's new in design, and I've learned to love feedback.
Focus on People
I'm passionate about helping others, whether that be the users / customers, clients, or my teammates. I'm also not afraid to ask for help or offer it when needed. I think that collaboration is key to success.
Creativity
I have an active imagination and love coming up with new ideas of how things could look or function. I also seek inspiration from the competition, my peers, and my everyday experiences.
Positive Attitude
I tend to see the glass half-full; I try to make the best out of any situation. I also love to have fun, enjoy a good laugh, and feel close to my teammates.
